Currently, those who visit Menucha are primarily attending one of our programs or coming with a retreat group. For many people, the opportunity to be at Menucha comes just once per year. We also have groups who have been utilizing Menucha for decades, yet they mostly have no knowledge of each other. Through the Menucha Membership program, we can build a bridge within our community of communities and increase access to our property.
Menucha continues to evolve, as does the landscape out here in the gorge, and we want to become a community to which people belong, not simply an event they attend or a building they rent. Creating the option for becoming a member of Menucha extends our mission of enriching lives and opens our doors more often to those who love us. And it creates a new stream of financial support as well.
Engaging as a member of Menucha invites you into a profound level of attentiveness and presence to our property, staff, and other members. Members will have more chances to experience the renowned Menucha hospitality.
Memberships include opportunities to:
- Visit on your own or with a friend – we’ll have an online sign up for this.
- Attend special gatherings with other members.
- Build a close partnership with Menucha.

Member Days
On these pre-scheduled visits, members will have the opportunity to spend a day at Menucha (or whatever portion works for you). We’ll pre-select days that aren’t too crowded with groups already on the property. Your day can be self-guided or we can offer some ideas. If you’d like to join us for lunch, we’ll have the option to sign up for that at an additional cost (lunch is included at some of the levels). While memberships are by the individual, we also want you to be able to bring a friend or family member with you on your day. We’ll ask you to communicate our guidelines and take responsibility for the safety and experience of any guest you bring along.
Member Days will be rolled out three months at a time, and they will be reserved through our online sign-up on a first-come, first served basis.
Member Events
Throughout the year, members will be invited to special events on the property. Details will be confirmed as they get closer, but to give you an idea of what we’re planning:
| Winter/Spring | Board games and crafts. Yummy treats. Warm drinks. Good company. A hike around the property if the Gorge winds allow. |
| Summer/Fall | Gather at the fire pit or go on a group scavenger hunt. Eat cookies and make crafts. Drink cold lemonade and iced tea. |
